…WITH THE SOUND OF WATER

In the exhibition ‘....with the sound of water’, landscape painter Jaelle Pedroli and ceramist Helen Robins explore their intimate connection with nature. The artists are deeply influenced by their experience of living by the river and the ocean. Land and forms unique to the river and the sea inspire their work. The soothing sounds of the water is omnipresent when they visit their place of inspiration and these sounds stay with them as they work in their respective studios. The fluidity, movement, and energy of water becomes part of their process serving as mediation and a way of connecting with their own creativity. The exhibition ‘.....with the sound of water’ invites the audience for calm contemplation and reminds us of the power art has in connecting us with our deeper selves and the world we inhabit.
